Se trata de una nueva adaptaci\u00f3n de la c\u00e9lebre novela del escritor neerland\u00e9s <strong>Herman Koch<\/strong>, <em>Het Diner (La cena)<\/em>, que desde su publicaci\u00f3n en 2009 se ha convertido en un fen\u00f3meno internacional con m\u00faltiples versiones teatrales y cinematogr\u00e1ficas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times;\">Los directores hablan de los desaf\u00edos de adaptar un libro tan conocido, de darle un sello brasile\u00f1o y de c\u00f3mo el filme refleja tensiones familiares, pol\u00edticas y sociales en la actualidad.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: times;\">La novela de Herman Koch ha sido adaptada en distintos pa\u00edses. \u00bfC\u00f3mo fue el proceso de encontrar una mirada propia para <em>Precisamos Falar<\/em>?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times;\"><strong>Rebeca Diniz:<\/strong><br \/>\nCreo que lo m\u00e1s importante para m\u00ed fue traer la realidad de la novela al cine desde nuestra perspectiva y para todas las edades. En Brasil vivimos una presi\u00f3n muy fuerte relacionada con la diferencia econ\u00f3mica, algo que nos marca como pa\u00eds en desarrollo. Ese tema del privilegio est\u00e1 muy presente en la historia y quisimos trasladarlo a la pantalla.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times;\">El filme muestra c\u00f3mo familias privilegiadas intentan resolver problemas al margen de la justicia. Eso es un espejo de nuestra realidad: la colonizaci\u00f3n extrema que vivimos y la desconexi\u00f3n de las \u00e9lites con el resto de la sociedad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times;\"><strong>Pedro Waddington:<\/strong><br \/>\nS\u00ed, la historia ya hab\u00eda sido adaptada en al menos cinco pa\u00edses. Por eso nuestro desaf\u00edo fue encontrar lo particular de Brasil. En el guion hicimos cambios para que el relato se convirtiera en algo m\u00e1s nuestro. Al inicio la idea era que cada uno dirigiera una parte, pero pronto entendimos que no ten\u00eda sentido dividir el set: quer\u00edamos una sola pel\u00edcula, no dos. Fue un proceso complejo, pero logramos llegar a un producto \u00fanico.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: times;\">En la novela, todo gira en torno a una cena en un restaurante. \u00bfQu\u00e9 cambios hicieron ustedes en la estructura?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times;\"><strong>Pedro Waddington:<\/strong><br \/>\nEl libro original se centra en una sola cena, desde el punto de vista de los padres. En nuestra versi\u00f3n extendimos la narrativa a tres d\u00edas, lo que genera mayor tensi\u00f3n dram\u00e1tica y nos permiti\u00f3 incluir a los j\u00f3venes en la discusi\u00f3n. Nos interesaba mostrar no solo el reflejo de los padres en los hijos, sino tambi\u00e9n de los hijos en los padres.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: times;\">El protagonista, Michel, \u00bfc\u00f3mo lo abordaron sin reducirlo a un villano?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times;\"><b>Thiago Voltolini<\/b><strong>:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times;\"><br \/>\nMi primer contacto fue con el libro, luego con la versi\u00f3n de Hollywood. All\u00ed parec\u00eda casi un psic\u00f3pata o soci\u00f3pata. Pero no quer\u00eda limitarlo a un diagn\u00f3stico cl\u00ednico. Ese chico existe en la vida real: es producto de su familia y de un contexto social. Para m\u00ed era fundamental humanizarlo, mostrarlo como alguien real, no como un \u201cmonstruo\u201d plano.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: times;\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 elementos hacen de <em>Precisamos Falar<\/em> una adaptaci\u00f3n espec\u00edficamente brasile\u00f1a?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times;\"><strong>Rebeca Diniz:<\/strong><br \/>\nEl Michel de nuestra historia es tambi\u00e9n el resultado de un pa\u00eds con profundas desigualdades, con familias que viven en mundos protegidos y sobreprotegidos. En Brasil, los j\u00f3venes suelen permanecer en casa de los padres hasta los 30 o 35 a\u00f1os. Esa ruptura tard\u00eda entre madre e hijo fue central en nuestra visi\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times;\">Adem\u00e1s, Internet juega un papel crucial. Es un espacio de contacto e influencia enorme sobre los adolescentes, y creemos que esa es una marca muy brasile\u00f1a de la pel\u00edcula.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: times;\">\u00bfC\u00f3mo se relaciona el filme con el momento pol\u00edtico y social de Brasil?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times;\"><strong>Pedro Waddington:<\/strong><br \/>\nAunque la historia fue escrita antes, dialoga directamente con la polarizaci\u00f3n y el discurso de odio que vivimos hoy. No quer\u00edamos etiquetar a los personajes como de derecha o izquierda; m\u00e1s bien nos interesaba mostrar c\u00f3mo la educaci\u00f3n, m\u00e1s o menos humanista, repercute en los hijos. La pel\u00edcula evita el blanco y negro: no todos los padres violentos generan hijos violentos, ni al rev\u00e9s.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times;\"><strong>Rebeca Diniz:<\/strong><br \/>\nPara m\u00ed, la pel\u00edcula invita a reflexionar sobre nuestros l\u00edmites \u00e9ticos y morales. \u00bfHasta d\u00f3nde estamos dispuestos a llegar por nuestros hijos? \u00bfHasta d\u00f3nde mantenemos la rectitud? Es una discusi\u00f3n dolorosa, pero necesaria, sobre los privilegios y las desigualdades que atraviesan a Brasil.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: times;\">La novela de Koch ha sido le\u00edda como un thriller psicol\u00f3gico, pero tambi\u00e9n como s\u00e1tira social. \u00bfC\u00f3mo lo ven ustedes?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times;\"><strong>Pedro Waddington:<\/strong><br \/>\nIntentamos mantener esa doble dimensi\u00f3n. Hay drama y tensi\u00f3n, pero tambi\u00e9n humor. Observamos otras versiones, como la coreana, que nos pareci\u00f3 cercana a la nuestra en t\u00e9rminos de estructura. Pero nuestro aporte fue abrir espacio para los j\u00f3venes y para la reflexi\u00f3n sobre la era digital.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times;\">Creo que cuando el p\u00fablico vea la pel\u00edcula, sentir\u00e1 la misma preocupaci\u00f3n que nosotros: \u00bfqu\u00e9 pasa en ese mundo virtual tan silencioso y a veces incomprensible? Incluso yo, siendo joven,\u00a0me sorprendo de no entender del todo esos caminos.
